Do I Need a College Degree to Become a Mediator?

In many states (including Oklahoma), mediators do not need a college degree to be listed as a qualified mediator on a state roster of mediators. Even when state requirements require a mediator to have a college degree, the parties can choose whoever they wish to be their mediator regardless of their education.
